New Foley Instant Messages; Had Internet Sex While Awaiting House Vote October 03, 2006 1:22 PM
Brian Ross and Maddy Sauer Report:
Former Congressman Mark Foley (R-FL) interrupted a vote on the floor of the House in 2003 to engage in Internet sex with a high school student who had served as a congressional page, according to new Internet instant messages provided to ABC News by former pages.
ABC News now has obtained 52 separate instant message exchanges, which former pages say were sent by Foley, using the screen name Maf54, to two different boys under the age of 18.
This message was dated April 2003, at approximately 7 p.m., according to the message time stamp.

It's not a question of duplicates when registering, it's intentionally deceiving the chat server to send out a nic you don't own. I'd have to look into it, but I'm sure it's doable.

I guess you would be really, really wrong. I guess there is no need for
trials by jury in your world either. What I believe to be "right" may or may not jibe with "the law", but until someone is
proved guilty, you better be very careful with all your pi$$ and vinegar.
Have you given even one second of thought in your small mind that Foley just might have been set up? I bet not.
Even one passing question about who is passing the "information", and how they came by it? I'm betting no on this question too.
Exactly how long have you been a member of the Taliban, anyway?

Interesting post on
Macsmind Blog
Several sources are telling me that there is an extreme amount of nervousness in the Democratic side of the isle that this so-called Republican Scandal may actually bite them in the ass in November. Seems that although Foley played the willing pervert, he might have actually been enable a bit, not by Republicans but by those sympathetic for the Democrat cause. So we now know that George Soros funded CREW knowingly withheld possibly criminal information just so it could have the greatest political effect. Moreover, we know that a leftist Gay Republican Outer, actually played a material part in the plot as well,
even going so far we believe as to pose as one of the chatters.
We have a bogus blogger site, http://www.stopsexpredators.blogspot.com, that this morning removed damaging comments, and has the FBI looking into who started it up. Again, more than likely the same poser mentioned above.
All of this on top of an nearly orchestrated response by the Democrats - far too orchestrated to be have enabled on the fly - to the Foley issue.
So the question is going to ratchet up now. What did DEMOCRATS know, and more importantly, WHAT part did they play.
Were going to soon find out.
Extra Note: On Brian (didnt talk about it in 2005 because I was busy with Katrina) Rosss blog, he now admits to receiving 52 separate instant message exchanges, which former pages say were sent by Foley, using the screen name Maf54, to two different boys under the age of 18.
He adds
.
This message was dated April 2003, at approximately 7 p.m., according to the message time stamp.
Excuse me? 2003? So there are all these recorded chat messages - messages that have to be chosen to be recorded as no chat or im software does that by default, coming like a flury, all of a sudden. Again, WHO held these messages in a undeclosed location and incidently, withheld evidence, from 2003 until now.
The Democratic leadership ought to be worried, because this is precisely what the DOJ and FBI and looking to find out.

What bugs me is that everyone thinks we wanted Hastert (or someone) to send in Special Ops into his home and office or something with the media there filming like it was Capone's vault. I wanted someone to contact some people associated with this issue and speak privately with them-- just to do some due diligence investigation. I want to know what questions were asked. My guess is that none were-- to anyone.

I'm beginning to wonder if it was really a page. It sounds like a set up to me. In addition to being one sick puppy Foley is flat-a$$ed stoopid. I'm apalled to think that he was representing American people in serious matters.

Oh I get it now, two wrongs make the second wrong defensible.
Frankly, I just learned about that story when this one broke and I was pretty grossed out and disgusted. I think that happened in the 80s and the D was from Mass.
Wrong then, wrong now, always disgusting.

Wasn't there a poster on this site with that username in the past? I could be wrong, but I thought there was. I just did a search under that name and it says the account has been banned.

If I know 16-year-old boys, not one of them wants to spread the idea that he was the object of affection of a creepy old gay guy, unless he's gay himself. The actions of the parents seem to indicate that the page didn't want this attention at all.

ABC News now has obtained 52 separate instant message exchanges... And where exactly did they obtain them from? An "ANONYMOUS" source or from a page? Or...did they make this stuff up?
I don't believe a damn thing any of them say.

The difference is that Democrats never claimed to be 'moral' or 'upstanding' or supporters of 'family values'.
The republicans live and die by this stuff.
Can't impeach Clinton for a BJ, then turn around and ignore GOP congressmen diddling little boys, now can we?
To: Fawn
We don't know anything. The entire chat session log can be created in a word processor and sent to ABC. There's no way to validate anyone said anything.

He didn't say who or what, but that the dem 'war room' was busy and he expected it to break on Friday. I could have missed something 'cause I was at the gym with lots of noise.
I'll check through the Rush Live Thread later and see if there's anything there providing more info.
