I'm hardly a fan of the gay lifestyle, but saying that every single belief and aspect of your lifestyle must match up with that of your district is rediculous. Most Congressman are wealthier then the average person in their district, they are also usually better educated, etc.

Using your logic, no Mormon would hold office outside of Utah, no Catholic would hold office outside of New England, etc.

Straw man, and a very poor one. You're equating one's religion or religious following with 'value systems', and they aren't the same. One may influence the other, but using your example......Mormons, Catholics, Baptists, fundamentalists, Church of Christ, etc., etc., etc. share a belief system.

Let me be blunt. Someone who defines their worldview by an intense desire to be identified as someone who likes to take it up the *** from another male does NOT represent me or the overwhelming majority of Americans. Period.
