No, Republicans do bad things too. Sad but true. The difference is that the Republican party members have standards of behavior.

From the home page of CNN.com
"Republican Rep. Mark Foley of Florida will not run for reelection amid questions about e-mails he sent to a former Capitol Hill page, Republican sources say."
I'm thinking we'd better wait until we hear it from the horse's mouth--this sounds incredibly like a MSM smear campaign to me!

Sounds as if Rep. Foley might have a few skeltons in his closet he doesn't want to let out. "Mr. Skelton, please come *out* of the closet!"

I am sure Rep. Frank and Rep. Foley also know what "assuming" does.

I wonder if Foley will now write a book like McGayvey?

You only saw 3 of them; there were at least five of them. If he were truly innocent, he should have released all of the email text and stayed in the race.
I suspect that couldn't be done. It's a shame that we'll lose a seat, but good riddance to bad rubbish, IMO.

"who can trust them?"
Not me, that is for sure! I strongly feel they are only in the party to weaken it. Much the same way the homosexuals infiltrated the Catholic Church back in the 30's.

Have we forgotten about "my boy lollipop"? Barney Frank? No, we haven't.
I believe the people involved in Barney's circle of prostitution were of legal age.

"Rep. Foley considering resigning"
There's a big leap between Resigning and CONSIDERING resigning...something still smells about this whole situation.
