I think you're right on the money that he's probably gay and definitely socially awkward, but I'm unwilling to label someone a child predator until there is real, solid proof. Call me crazy, but given how evil preying on children is, I want to be especially careful with that label.
If he is a child predator, then I hope he sees the inside of a cell for the rest of his life.
Is it any wonder the RNC chose Minnesota for the 2008 convention instead of Tampa, Florida? We may end up with a governor who's preferences are up for grabs. The RNC didn't want to take the chance of that guy giving a keynote speech at their convention. Or, maybe Florida is ready for a gay guv. I'm not.

That would be a tough one. Isn't Limbaugh still on Deferred Adjudication? Didn't he swear off international travel until this period ends? That would make it tough for him to be a Congressman, and the campaign will be brutal.

Also, it is one thing to have people to assume you are gay, it is quite another to assume that you are a pedofile. By resigning, many people will assume the worse. The only reason to resign would be to allow for some doubt rather than have everything out in public.
Why not? He will win, no doubt. Then he can resign the seat and as long as we have a Rep Governor elected in Fla, the seat stays Rep.
Yes, Florida is about to elect a gay republican. Jim Davis the democrat, is going to take a fall so cc wins. Davis doesn't want to win and that's why he's not trying. It is pre-ordained that cc will win. cc has so much cash that he can pay off all his former companions to keep quiet.
I absolutely agree with you on this, those questions should be asked, but it doesn't change the bottom line here that Foley has got to go, period.
I think Frist is botoxing. Something about him has looked very different the last couple times I've seen him. Either that, or he's sick. As you know he's not running for reelection.
