Straying pretty far afield from the topic of the thread, the law of non-contradiction only states that a thing cannot simultaneously be both "X" and "not X" (which itself becomes a touch problematic once you delve into quantum characteristics). But of course, that's not what Psalm 73 said. What Psalm 73 said was:

There can be only "one truth", not "many truths".

Perhaps you subscribe to the libertarian idea that each person creates his own truth . . . . If there is no one source for truth, then how do you know that the things you believe are valid - 'cause they work for you?

The statement, as qualified, certainly does not appear to be a recitation of the law of non-contradiction. And as you noted Warren_Piece, it is demonstrably false as written (and, I would venture to say, as qualified).

And in answer to the question you pose above, Psalm 73, I would say -- yes, validity is borne out by experience.

"Just for the record, this statement is demonstrably false. Often repeated, but false nevertheless."

No matter how you construct a logic argument - the nature of reality can only be ONE WAY - you may believe different things about it, but there CANNOT be opposing foundations for the nature of reality.
