I don't want to speak for Ohio, but I will give a stab at what I think she meant. Her post was in reply to mystery's post where she said that the day is drawing near--which I think is the day of her son's (I believe--I should know this and feel badly that I don't!) deployment. Ohio meant that she could empathize. Her son is right now going to a new peaceful location, and even that is hard for her. Mystery's son is not going to a peaceful location (I think I am right). Did that help at all? Probably not!
