Let's play one of our favorite games: WIACHSI, which of course stands for "What If a Conservative Had Said It?"
Ready? OK, let's play. What would happen if a conservative attacked a female liberal icon by calling her promiscuous? How many outraged Dem elected officials, NOW leaders, Naomi Wolfs . . . and Air America hosts would be popping up all over the MSM to proclaim their outrage?
And yet, on today's edition of Tucker Carlson, Air America host and class-action trial lawyer [nice two-fer!] Mike Papantonio leveled the loose woman charge at none other than Ann Coulter.
The subject was a new book, "I Hate Ann Coulter", written by four authors who have chosen to remain anonymous out of their supposed fear of "gun-toting abortion-clinic bombing, self-proclaimed wing nuts who follow Coulter."
Asked to comment on the authors preference for anonymity, Papantonio, instead uttered this slanderous non sequitur:
"To really understand Ann Coulter you have to focus on the fact that this is a woman who has never had a relationship with another person that has lasted longer than the gestation period of a fruit fly."
Carlson cut him off: "I will not have that. Going into people's personal lives is out of bounds. We're not going to talk about people's personal lives unless they're doing it in public."
Papantonio then claimed that Coulter "has invited this discussion," but Carlson made it clear he would brook no further discussion of Ann's private life, and that put an end to matters. Let's remember this one the next time an MSMer accuses conservatives of being hate-filled, sex-obsessed, puritanical or misogynistic.
Yeah, I'm a product of the publc school system. Remind me to say something when you make a mistake. Oh. I forgot. you're perfect!
............ neerly perfect.
:-)
Study Hall........... right down the hall on the left, kid.
Yeah, and again I don't want to get too much into picking Ann apart psychologically, but her lifestyle isn't my idea of happiness. If she's happy the way she is, good for her. But, even if it meant having her long legs and her wealth, I wouldn't want to be her.
What I found astonishing is that someone in this thread suggested she is a great role model. I don't have any daughters. For a long time, I longed for a daughter. But when I see how mean, self-absorbed and materialistic girls seem to be these days, I'm glad I don't have a daughter. It seems that a girl has no choice these days but to be mean or to be picked on for not being mean. I wouldn't want Coulter as a role model for my daughter. Granted, she's a better role model than Paris Hilton. But I guess I'm just old fashioned. I think Laura Bush is a great role model -- smart, strong enough to keep W in line, and gracious and decent -- even to her attackers.
....... better check those olfactory nerves, kid.
You're old-fashioned and GREAT..... and I love Laura too. She's a great lady.
And one thing that is not too important ....... but I love that Laura has had just her one quite pretty hairstyle all throughout G.W.'s Presidency, when Hillary morphed into at least a dozen of them to try to find an identity.
Laura and you are wonderful.
Thanks -- and your wife is lucky to have you for 30+ years! It is so rare to see men that honor their vows these days. I'm one of the lucky ones too, to have my husband. Have a great day. I'm taking my youngest out for a walk now. It is a gorgeous fall day here!
Wonderful ........... I own and operate a small perennial nursery in Western Pennsylvania (outside about 16 hours a day/seven days a week) ............ it's a beautiful fall day here today as well, blue sky and a slight westerly breeze.
Please be well..........

Like the Jersey Girls ever had any class...
There was a time in this country when whores were looked down on. Now we embrace defacto whores like the Jersey Girls as "heroes" and hang on their every political utterance.
Southerners are some of the nicest, classiest people in the country, though I am not one. I hale from the Great Lakes - though wild horses couldn't drag me to Minnesota. Nice folk in Minnesota, but their DFL roots are a little too deep for my taste.
When you asked if I was from the South, I guess you were stereotyping many Southerners as polite, knowledgeable and quick-witted...
;-)
PS - it's not YOUR fault that you was raised in Blue-land. We still like Freepers from Minnesota and New Jersey right well. Most of them aren't infected...
'When you asked if I was from the South, I guess you were stereotyping many Southerners as polite, knowledgeable and quick-witted...'
I am a southerner...I remember my manners most of the time ;-)
BINGO to you too! It goes with foreign women too. With a top nurse from another country that has a Visa attachment and green card to work here and finally is getting roots in her own way, After flying 15 hours north twice a year on vacation for 2 years. Her relatives own businesses here that are serious.
We visited the Reagan Library in Simi Valley for 5 hours. It's not a library anymore- it's a great big sprawling museaum of history. She just had to read everything on every exhibit- a lot were funny:) We checked out Air Force 1 and the Marine helicopter, the limousine and police escort, and the F-14 Tomcat outside the big place. Tomohawk Cruise Missile. And his burial site. And the mock-up of the Rose Garden.
THAT's the sort of date that ladies remember and get endeared to men for. More conservative than Gingrich and immigrated from Nordeste Brasil. Back to our point- women don't want to sit around in restaurants eating or drinking and getting bored at night- they want a morning phone call on Saturday to tell them to get ready for a date! Everything later just develops normally:) Women are all the same in 9 countries this far. So men are all the same too:):):)
Okkkaaayyyyy --- so, according to your logic, classless behavior by the Jersey Girls justifies classes behavior by Coulter? Is that your point? Incidentally, Coulter was saying some pretty outlandish things before anyone had ever heard of the Jersey Girls. It was just her comments about the Jersey Girls that finally forced me to stop excusing Coulter, simply because she's on my side of the political spectrum.
Thanks -- we had a great day. Usually, Septembers in my area are pretty miserable, hot and muggy. But this year, September has been spectacular. Crisp air, the smell of burning leaves and college football......the only better time, IMO, is Christmas!
Where libs only date from related gene pools whatever species
Just what I heard
........... love that smell of burning leaves. Brings back memories of my childhood in the early 50's when we were allowed to burn leaves.
Now......... we just do it anyhow in our suburb whether the local officials like it or not. Just have a couple of marshmallows nearby .......... for some reason it's ok if you are cooking something.
;-)
He will be wasting oxygen (and taxpayer money) for a long time. I rechecked and actually the latest bombing was a clinic in Birmingham in '98.
Rudolph plead guilty to that one and the one in Georgia to avoid the death penalty and is serving four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.
No. My point is that the Jersey Girls do a great imitation of classless political whores.
Now, if someone is capable of taking action to rain on the parade of classless political whores, and does so, that's up to them. :-)
