Let's play one of our favorite games: WIACHSI, which of course stands for "What If a Conservative Had Said It?"
Ready? OK, let's play. What would happen if a conservative attacked a female liberal icon by calling her promiscuous? How many outraged Dem elected officials, NOW leaders, Naomi Wolfs . . . and Air America hosts would be popping up all over the MSM to proclaim their outrage?
And yet, on today's edition of Tucker Carlson, Air America host and class-action trial lawyer [nice two-fer!] Mike Papantonio leveled the loose woman charge at none other than Ann Coulter.
The subject was a new book, "I Hate Ann Coulter", written by four authors who have chosen to remain anonymous out of their supposed fear of "gun-toting abortion-clinic bombing, self-proclaimed wing nuts who follow Coulter."
Asked to comment on the authors preference for anonymity, Papantonio, instead uttered this slanderous non sequitur:
"To really understand Ann Coulter you have to focus on the fact that this is a woman who has never had a relationship with another person that has lasted longer than the gestation period of a fruit fly."
Carlson cut him off: "I will not have that. Going into people's personal lives is out of bounds. We're not going to talk about people's personal lives unless they're doing it in public."
Papantonio then claimed that Coulter "has invited this discussion," but Carlson made it clear he would brook no further discussion of Ann's private life, and that put an end to matters. Let's remember this one the next time an MSMer accuses conservatives of being hate-filled, sex-obsessed, puritanical or misogynistic.
Smart move for a bunch of cowardly, peace-nik, bed-wetting d******ds.
He has that John Kerry look about him if Kerry were pudgy.
I guess this makes Ann's point about liberals wanting to make their points without allowing you to respond.
If anonymous guys are making and ad hominem argument, you can't respond in kind if you don't know who they are.
"I will never look at Ann Coulter the same after that. And, she has a lot of growing up to do no matter. She's eternally sophomoric............... but a very entertaining writer." I agree. She is smart, but she isn't very classy at all. If people want to give her a high-five over what she said about the Jersey Girls, they have no right to whine when liberals attack her personally.

She must have had a couple of shots of whiskey or a few Valium right before that picture was taken. She almost looks relaxed....... versus her usual manic, giggling, sophomoric behavior.

I see them as people who, like Cindy Sheehan, did suffer pain, but turned that suffering into political capital.

Somehow I doubt it. Try to find out then. TELL ME how girls like Kristin Breitweiser worked the deaths of their husbands INTENTIONALLY into "political capital".

Good for Tucker! Anyway, isn't this what the Feminazis wanted - for a woman to be treated just like a man. For Bill Clinton, it is a matter of false male pride (I think he is a whore). For a woman, well - the dems still think their sluts! Typical two-face hypocrits.

Ann will be 45 on December 8th. That's a good number of years.
Maybe she will act then like she's a mature, decent adult. I won't hold my breath.
She's a fine and witty writer........... but a mere adolescent way too often.
Here's hoping someone enters her life to give her some wisdom. But way too often these days in this country, when a person is making a great deal of money as she is, and has success as she does .......... they never grow up or take good advice. I don't see her ever growing up.
Her hateful comments about those four women showed perhaps something lurking in her mind ............. never married, never a real love of her life, never had any children ...... just regret on her part. Just maybe?

Why don't you take a break from your college studies and do just a little research on just how they became "The Jersey Girls". Then get back with us about their "making themselves figureheads".
Well, I won't delve into the psychology of why Ann behaves the way she does, though I think you offer a good theory. When I first started paying attention to politics in my early twenties as a young mother, I bought into the whole "battle" mentality. I was entertained whenever some kook was on the radio passing off some conspiracy theory about Clinton. I remember when my local radio station protested Hillary Clinton's health care plan by shouting, "Go Home Witch" and I thought it was cool and successful. Now, I realize how immature and petty it all was. (I suppose it took the reality of 9/11 for me to grow up and realize how insignificant all our political differences are compared to the threat of terror.) I'm 37 now and I think my obligations to my husband and my family have put things in perspective. I do think a husband and a family might help Coulter mature. Unfortunately, Coulter is like many celebrites. They are surrounded by sycophants who tell them what they want to hear and reenforce their delusions that they are always right. I don't know what chance a down-to-earth guy has of meeting her, let alone marrying her.

Ann is insulated as you mention.
I'll be 60 in January ....... and have been married to the same dear lady for 33 years.
There is something important to be said for the love and warmth found in marriage.
I really believe that Ann has a large hole in her life and since she has the lifestyle that she has, and that insulation of which we spoke, she just may remain as she is.
"A cold drink of water" with a a decent ability with words.
She can write ...... but can she "live" well?
