Air America Host: Coulter's Never Had Relationship Longer Than Fruit Fly Gestation

Let's play one of our favorite games: WIACHSI, which of course stands for "What If a Conservative Had Said It?"

Ready? OK, let's play. What would happen if a conservative attacked a female liberal icon by calling her promiscuous? How many outraged Dem elected officials, NOW leaders, Naomi Wolfs . . . and Air America hosts would be popping up all over the MSM to proclaim their outrage?

And yet, on today's edition of Tucker Carlson, Air America host and class-action trial lawyer [nice two-fer!] Mike Papantonio leveled the loose woman charge at none other than Ann Coulter.

The subject was a new book, "I Hate Ann Coulter", written by four authors who have chosen to remain anonymous out of their supposed fear of "gun-toting abortion-clinic bombing, self-proclaimed wing nuts who follow Coulter."

Asked to comment on the authors preference for anonymity, Papantonio, instead uttered this slanderous non sequitur:

"To really understand Ann Coulter you have to focus on the fact that this is a woman who has never had a relationship with another person that has lasted longer than the gestation period of a fruit fly."

Carlson cut him off: "I will not have that. Going into people's personal lives is out of bounds. We're not going to talk about people's personal lives unless they're doing it in public."

Papantonio then claimed that Coulter "has invited this discussion," but Carlson made it clear he would brook no further discussion of Ann's private life, and that put an end to matters. Let's remember this one the next time an MSMer accuses conservatives of being hate-filled, sex-obsessed, puritanical or misogynistic.

Contrary to nasty belief there are actually people in this world who do not gain weight, regardless of how much they eat. I happen to be one of them. I'm built the same way as Ms. Coulter and find the comments about her build VERY offensive.

You're right. I can eat all I want without gaining weight.

Actually, he's jealous she's better endowed than he.

In oh so many, many ways.

Thank you.

I've gotten a ration of you-know-what for that comment of mine, but I truly meant it.

So where do I sign up to be a fruit fly!

I know, I was joking too...sorry if it didn't come off what way. Al Franken is indeed from St. Louis Park, MN, but in no way, shape, or form could any rational person call Al Franken a libertarian. Other than that, I agree with you on several points. I think Franken was funny back in the SNL days, but now has gotten quite obnoxious. I also think he and Ann Coulter are each other's counterparts in many ways, and I can't stand either of them. And, while I was born in and spent a good chunk of my life in Minnesota, I actually grew up in Essex County, NJ, and currently live in Hudson County.

It's unbecoming for a man to say that about a woman. Most women don't like sitting in a restaurant on a date at night. It's boring. Daytime dates like Ultralight flying or fishing or putting holes in the desert are much more fun for a date. Dinner tummies can come later with laughing and other nice things:):) Hearts matter more than looks or anything else.

Don't know if it's the latest abortion clinic bombing but Eric Rudolph planted two bombs at a Sandy Springs Atlanta clinic on January 16, 1997. First one exploded in an empty room. The second went off and wounded police officers.

God, I hate cowards who hide under the cloak of anonymity to avoid being held accountable for their rants... A pox on all of them!

Carlson cut him off: "I will not have that. Going into people's personal lives is out of bounds. We're not going to talk about people's personal lives unless they're doing it in public."

Good for you, Tucker! Glad you did the right thing.

I will go ahead and tell you all that I am not a big fan of Ann Coulter but the things that Air America and the extreme left come up with explain why no one listens to them. And why they are bankrupt.

BINGO!!!!!!!!

The 2 dates that stick out most in my memory was going target shooting and the first time I ever went surf fishing.

That was more than 18 years ago and the man that took me is currently sleeping in the other room, and I'm getting ready to join him :) He obviously has no problem with my skinny body, as the 8yo who is also currently sleeping (thank you God) proves.........

I'll take that as a yes. And my image of Southerners is not based on any stereotype, it is based on how poorly I've been treated every time I've visited the South for being a Yankee.

I'm sure you did nothing to deserve being treated poorly ...

And by the way, how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce these harpies? ............. Completely unprofessional attack. And frankly, surprising coming from Ann. Using a "nobody can say this wasn't going to happen" to attack them is plainly awful. Her point was legitimate. Use a spokesperson we can respond to without being criticized. Her method was sorely lacking at that point.

Well said.

She also asked that sick question about divorce on Hannity and Colmes.

Just imagine if you had just lost your husband, the father of your child (children) in that terrible way, and someone (Ann) decided to say something so disgusting as that. Just imagine how they must have felt.

I will never look at Ann Coulter the same after that. And, she has a lot of growing up to do no matter. She's eternally sophomoric............... but a very entertaining writer.

Some of her stuff is a little "out there". She needs to add a few pounds to her too thin body. At the very least she speaks up and doesnt cowtow to the liberal crap these Democrats put out as fact. It seems she is the lone voice in the dark at times.

It sickens me to hear every day new attacks on our President by democrats and not one Republican speaking up or pointing out the lies.At least she speaks up. thats more than I can say for Frist, or any other Republican.

Many in this thread have taken the tack that the headline of the article means she has had varied sexual relationships. I never thought that. I thought it meant simply that she never had social relationships that lasted.

Whatever the person who spoke this meant it was a little beyond good taste, but a person in her place has to be willing to put up with that.
