As Chuckles points out, if the flood was massive enough, it wouldn’t take much time at all. Read the following carefully, the evidence for the rapid formation of the Grand Canyon is overwhelming.

There aren't a billion layers and it isn't solid rock. You can actually go and look for yourself, bend over and scrape a handful of dirt from anywhere in the canyon. Take the mule ride for a close look from top to bottom.
