Look up the name Peleg in Genesis. It means “division”. Science can speculate why stuff happens, but I believe the poles shifted violently, or maybe an impact from space, but it’s hard to imagine Mammoths dieing standing up with fresh flowers in their stomachs unless it happened very quickly. Try to imagine continents drifting at hundreds of miles an hour.

I also believe the Grand Canyon was formed quickly by a draining lake that left us the Salt Flats. It was humorous to read how puzzled the scientists were after Mt St Helens when they discovered canyons that were eroded by melting ice and drained lakes that they claimed would have taken millions of years to form by rain and weather.

This stuff is fun to read, but hang around awhile and they will change it. It mostly proves they KNOW nothing, but speculate on everything.

Why would the water drain out and leave the salt behind? Salt is formed as an evaporate.

Can you point me in the direction of information like this? (From someone reputable, of course.)

Go a source on that?

BTW, how big do you suppose a lake would need to be to eat through through a billion layers of solid rock?

The weather can change like that in the subarctic. There are muskox standing under layers of frozen muck that get exposed by river erosion now and then. Frozen solid standing and flesh still on their bones. Actually, they still find sabertooth tigers here, kind of mangled but flesh still on their bones.
