CAIRO, Egypt (AP) -- An al-Qaida-linked group posted a Web video Saturday purporting to show the bodies of two American soldiers being dragged behind a truck, then set on fire in apparent retaliation for the rape-slaying of a young Iraqi woman by U.S. troops from the same unit.
The Mujahedeen Shura Council -- an umbrella organization of insurgent groups, including al-Qaida in Iraq -- posted another video in June showing the soldiers' mutilated bodies, and claiming it killed them. It was not clear whether the video posted Saturday was a continuation of that footage, or why it was released.
It was impossible to identify the bodies, but the footage was believed to be of Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, and Pfc. Thomas Tucker, 25, who went missing after being attacked by insurgents on June 16 at a checkpoint south of Baghdad. Their remains were found three days later, and the U.S. military said they had been mutilated.
The video showed masked men dragging the corpses, first by hand, then behind a truck, beheading one of them and then setting them on fire. Below the graphic footage is a subtitle: "The two soldiers belong to the same brigade of the soldier who raped our sister in Mahmoudiya."
Exactly.
Even if they stick their hands up, shoot 'em. They may have a bomb.
"Where was the Geneva Convention for them???"
Good question!
I add, WHERE ARE THE HUMAN RIGHTS PEOPLE ON THIS?
THE ACLU? The over the top, self righteous political representative of ours that think WE TORTURE the ENEMY?
WELL, WHERE ARE THEY?
THOSE *** HYPOCRITES!
THIS pisses me off to NO END!
Terror group posts footage of bodies

It's a good thing Congress is passing all that terrorist protection legislature to make sure we treat them with kindness. Just think what the terrorist would have done to our soldiers if we didn't extend Geneva convention rights to terrorists. (/bitter sarcasm)
Liberal Rats and RINOs in Congress are just as evil when they support giving these terrorist bastards all the benefits of our laws to save their rear ends.
The Geneva Convention only applies to the USA.
This is the question everyone should be asking. This is the question that I hope voters will be asking this year, and in 2008. Anyone who answers it wrong should be voted out.
The thing is, the Geneva conventions should never have applied to the kind of fighters like the terrorists. Never. To apply them is just plain stupid--and suicidal for us.
Hard to believe but there will be those who aren't moved. Humanity takes a backseat to ideology with them.
Remember when they recovered these soldier's bodies, they were unrecognizable. Apparently for whatever reason, Al Qaeda has decided this is the time to show what was done to them.
The only thing better would be seeing MCPAIN dragged thru the streets by these monsters.....and leave our troops alone...
Where's the UN and media whining about due process and civil rights?
No, you want them to get their minds right. What we have so far is a failure to communicate.
Are you serious?
I'm furious with McCain and the rest of them- and I will work hard against him during primary season. I wouldn't wish that treatment on anyone, including McCain, Clinton, Carter etc.
Without starting a flame war- that kind comment does nothing to advance our cause.
Make no mistake: this war is a just one.
I did look at the pictures at the link at #5. That was enough. More than enough.
Someone sent me an email sometime ago with the pictures of the murdered soldiers. One was face down and pretty bloody. The other had been beheaded and the terrorist was holding his head up and his body was face up and his chest was cut open, you could see the ribs, a leg was missing..it was beyond awful. I would think the faces could have been idenitfied. I don't have the link anymore..it was just sickening.
Then today we hear the successor to AlZaqawri (sp) shot execution style a Turkish man who had been captured...it was on FOXNews.
What these terrorists don't realize is that the Allah they worship is Satan in Allah's robes...
these are not the pictures I saw.
