I would say it's an excellent possibility. The President was mentioning him by name in speech's a couple weeks back. Suddenly McCain, Warner, and Graham, buckle on questioning terror suspects. They had probably been shown this report. It is sure all over FOX news this morning.

No shiite, he's dead! He died at Tora Bora in 2001..
Yeah...all those current news references he's made since have been the result of that evil American Hollywood magic.

If this is true, expect Kerry and Dean to say something stupid like, "this just confirms Bush's incompetence! He let Bin Laden die before he could be captured!"

Thanks for providing all the information.
Maybe Typhoid Mary had signed on as Osama's cook?

They'll just go from "it's pathetic we haven't caught him yet" to "it's pathetic we never caught him". They probably already have the macro written.I wonder if Clinton knew of this the other day, when he got so adamant about insisting he had tried to get UBL.

Somehow, I think that if he died of 'natural causes', Al Queda would release it to taunt us and show the "evil Americans" didn't get him. What if they suspect he was purposely infected by anti-terrorists?

"if OSBL died of natural causes"For a man as wealthy as he is, to die of Typhoid Fever, while hiding in fear in some mountain hell hole, isn't what I would call "natural causes". I would call it "the delayed result of US military actions".

There is a little problem with your thesis...namely the fact that there are multiple videos of him since then which refer to subsequent events.

I hate articles like this, getting everyone's hopes up. Getting hopes up can be a good thing, unless you prematurely end all efforts to solve the problem.

And that is how the administration will need to spin it, i.e. that we kept him on the run away from hospitals and proper medical care, BUT YOU KNOW THAT IT WON'T.
Instead, it will allow the story to be spun that it tool way too long and we basically got lucky.

My first thought of the Osama dead rumor is that it might be true. The French report was dated Sept. 4.
Since then:
Nancy Pelosi has come out with a statement saying Osama bin Laden was not important anymore. She said his death or capture would be no big deal. The Democrats had been hammering away with the "You never got bin Laden " rants before this.
President Bush also said to Wolfie Blitzer that the US would go into Pakistan territory without Pakistan approval to get Osama. Seems easier to say that knowing it wouldn't be an issue.
Karl Rove has supposedly told Republicans there wold be an October surprise.

Considering there have been reports of previous kidney problems, this type of illness on top of malfunctioning kidneys could very well have done Bin Lousy in. Good point. Maybe his condition meant he couldn't be given one of the better antibiotics.

Fox is actually talking about this right now; something about August 23rd.
Are they giving credibility to this report?

My news is posting this possibility. The Saudis are saying unless they find the people who were with him or have the body, it will be hard to prove.
Pull out his last tape. Let's hear his words. The answer is there.
