Personally, I never cared much for Japs, Nips is my favorite.
I like cheese nips.
Nips are okay, but I prefer Werther's.
Don't go there. I was mocking her PC efforts to rename roads, because the term 'Japs' in and of itself was just a short form of 'Japanese' that in and of itself wasn't offensive, though it later was used that way. Not everyone who used the term 'Jap' was doing so to denigrate. What you are doing is quite different, and not to be defended.
It's like they used the phrases "zipperneck" or "pan head". Now those are bona fide WWII-era disparagements of asians, and won't be tolerated.
