That's easy. I haven't bought CITGO gas since before Hugo took over - their fuel is crap; it burns dirty and clogged my fuel injectors.

Unless you can see a Citgo refinery from your house, you are not necessarily getting gasoline from Citgo. All of the refineries on the Gulf coast use the same pipelines. Company A puts X gallons in at one point, company B puts Y gallons in at another. At the other end, it get distributed to both independent and A and B points of sale. It is still a good thing to avoid the Citgo products, but quality is not the issue.
