'Why do you believe the the correctness of a science is up for democratic vote? '
No , i dont think that.
But discussing alternative theories and not considering it as science should not be such a big deal if approched with a open mind.
I dislike Amway, because its marketing strategy is a glorified pyramid scheme and its products are mediocre and overpriced (per Consumer Reports tests)
or there is anyother companies you dislike as well
Oh, there most certainly is.
in a free market economy.
Non sequitur. Liking or disliking the practices or products of a particular company doesn't mean one doesn't believe in a free market economy, any more than believing in free speech means you have to agree with everything anybody says.
What direct quotes did you post?
A direct quote from DeVos?
Still waiting for it?
Lost the argument? In your dreams, try posting some logical arguments.

Let the consumers decide that? After all Consumers are the best judge in a free market economy and if a company is selling overpriced inferior products at the market place it would not last long.

Ok, but just blatant attacks on Companies(like Walmart) without any rational thought does not help the argument.
Don't assume Christian majorities.
The state is, but the local school districts in the cities I referred to are Moslem.
Having nothing whatever to do with my point. But thanks for the heads up.
Do you think that possible could be the reason for all their present problems and violence i their country???
______
Oh jeez, I hope that was tongue in cheek. The reason for the violence in Israel is due to the intractability of her neighbors, who wish to see Israel go down in flames. It has nothing to do with their views on the science/mythology debate.
{Poof}Didit placemark
YIKES! On the positive side that probably scared all the Jehova's Witnesses right out of the neighborhood.
LOL, that's a classice of the "is the cure worse than the disease" genre!
Huh? It's based on evidence.
If you come home, find your window jimmied and the cameo brooch with your mother's picture missing, and the cops find your nighbor's fingerprints in your bedroom and the brooch in his house, it's not proof that he stole it, it's evidence. His lawyer will try to find innocent reasons for these facts, and may succeed. But if he can't, your neighbor's guilty. No faith involved, just evidence.
The situation in science is similar. The evidence points to evolution. If competing evidence were produced, scientists might change their minds, depending on which evidence was more convincing. Alas for creationism and ID, there's a complete lack of evidence for their positions.
Dude, I should have added the sarcasm tag.
Yes, religeous control freaks.
This was a yarn spread by a preacherwoman, "Lady Hope". By getting people to believe this lie, she became a minor miracle worker in their eyes, and (just coincidentally) it encouraged them to give her more money. Ego and money.
If it had happened, his wife would have reported it, since his agnosticism was a sore point for their entire marriage.
What I have trouble understanding is the disdain religious people seem to have for simple personal honesty. How can someone like you repeat the same lies over and over, and think you are doing good?
That sounds good. Added to my statement, that should add up to 3 minutes or so :)
My point is that you can't prove that a supreme creator exists using the scientific method. It just won't work no matter how hard you try. That doesn't mean that I don't belive in God or that I'm not religious. Instead I take the advice of Jesus and believe through faith rather than having to see physical proof like the apostle Thomas needed. Furthermore, why waste time trying to prove something that can't be proven and distorting the minds of children in that regard?

I think we are making progress. You at least can now spell correctly even though you can't read.
"Dude, I should have added the sarcasm tag."
??? Dude, you make no sense!
"Why, then, is evolution such a lightning rod?
There must be something that the evolution deniers fear. I do not understand what they are afraid of."
Excuse me, but Amway has perverted the Word of God and has destroyed thousands of families. Please see www.merchantsofdeception.com.
