The World's Fastest Indian.
Plus I had the good fortune to drive through some of the areas where the film was shot the same day I watched it.

United 93 and Narnia (if it counts)
I saw it after Jan 1.

Remember the Titans. Watched it a couple of weeks ago with my dad. I am so not a football fan, it isn't funny, but this was a terrific movie that just happened to be about football players.

Do DVD/home viewings count? If so, the first movie that comes to mind is "Crash" (no, NOT the one with James Spader). This is the only movie that has ever made me get up and start walking out of my own home theater (you know the scene I'm talking about if you've seen the movie). It was THAT intense. I don't want to give too much away so I'll leave it at that.

Talofa Little Sister!
I really haven't seen any first runs this year but just purchased
United 93 and have yet to watch it. I did watch an old movie that was surprisingly good.
Great thread.......I'll be taking notes!

Cars is the only movie I've seen this year..I enjoyed it quite a bit.
It reminded me of an automotive "Doc Hollywood".
