Pat is just a little ahead of his time....which some around here can't seem to envision.

The impeachment thing is a little much though.

"Pat is just a little ahead of his time..."

His continuing defense of the Islamic extremists we are at war with is behind the times...Quisling made his mark in the 1940's.

Actually, no, Pat is very much BEHIND the time. But he wouldn't have "made it through" the times he's a throwback from.

He's ahead of his time all right -- November 1940. That's the last time isolationism even appeared to make any sense. Pat is still upset that we entered WWII -- even though the Japanese bombed us without warning and Hitler declared war on us, somehow that was the fault of American Pols. Now he adopts the tactics of the Know-Nothing Party that blamed Irish and German immigrants for all of the country's problems in the 1850's. Pat's so far out of it that he makes Sheets Byrd look contemporary.
