To slightly change the subject, I've dialed up the local news station in Thailand, and while I can't understand Thai, there was some "official looking" fellow speaking, followed by militaristic music. Sounds like they're taking over.... Thailand prime minister calls state of emergency: AP

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Thailand's Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra on Tuesday declared a state of emergency as rumors of a coup swept Bangkok, according to a media report. An army-owned television station suspended regular programming and played patriotic songs, the Associated Press reported. Shinawatra is abroad on a visit to New York. "The prime minister with the approval of the cabinet declares serious emergency law in Bangkok from now on," Shinawatra said on Channel 9 from New York, the AP reported. He also said he was transferring the nation's army chief to work in the prime minister's office, effectively suspending him from his military duties, according to the report.

Thing is, Al Jazeera is not showing this, won't show it and won't report on it. Not only that, the countries Bush mentioned are not showing this on TV and if you are caught watching this illegally, your family will disappear.
Bush is basically talking to a bunch of yahoos who only care about getting to Lutece by 1:00. England, Israel and Australia excluded.

Freedom cannot be imposed; it must be chosen.
Those in this chamber must make a choice as well.

Darfur, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Palestine, Israel's right to exist.
He's hit all of them, and all of them have been affected by the UN's corrupt incompetentence under Kofi Anon. Too bad the President can't go that far.

He is addressing all the people of the middle east. Will they be able to hear what he actually says or will they get a different translation?
