Worshippers coming out of services at Londons Westminster Cathedral today were greeted by a gang of Islamists, reports Joee Blogs - a Catholic Londoner.
As we came out about 100 Islamists were chanting slogans such as Pope Benedict go to Hell, Pope Benedict you will pay, the Muja Hadeen are coming your way, Pope Benedict watch your back, and other hateful things.
Aren't British Cathedrals Anglican?
Yes they are but befor Henry the 8th they were Catholic.
Westminster Abbey is not Catholic..It was before Henry the 8th but after he was denied a divorce by the Pope, he split with the Catholic Church and all cathedrals then became Anglican in England.
"Well we all know how Henry VIII would have handled this..."
That's one similarity between Islam and the Anglican faith - both religions were started by dirty old men (Mohammad and Henry VIII)
Amen.
Guess they didn't get the memo that said there are to be no depictions of the Mohammed. Oh yeah, it hadn't been written yet. Have to wait a few hundred years.
All those built before the 19th century are. But when the Catholic were allowed to re-establish their churches.
Hopefully, the Islamonazis won't find out about this church, because it would suffer the same fate as the Buddhas in Afghanistan.
Oops, that was an imcomplete fault. But when the Catholic were allowed to re-establish their churches, new Catholic cathedrals were built
A lovely cathedral. I have visited the Abby and did a brass rubbing of one of the headstones, St Martin's In The Field has some wonderful headstones that they allow people to make brass rubbing of too.
Good for NY! Has the American Communist Lawyers Union filed a suit yet?
Ping!
I don't know. Maybe a NY minute, but what's say we find out? Anybody up for it? You've got mosques and Islamic Centers in your city!
I wonder if Galloway was in the crowd???
How?
Go Dutch!
"I know I say it every time but: it should be against the law (of every land) to assemble/protest with masks on one's face!"
Could the case be made that wearing masks doesn't constitute "peaceful" (peaceable) assembly?
I like it a lot, too. The interior is particularly beautiful, with gorgeous Arts and Crafts stuff. I haven't been back to England for a few years - are they maintaining the Cathedral well?
I think this was Westminster Cathedral, which is Catholic.
What I would pay for someone to spray that crowd with a machine gun. Talk about comedy gold!
