I got it last week. My grandson got it first. I'll get it next week. I don't even remember the title - just that it had a red cover.

I knew 'America' was in the title. One of the comments made by my grandson was the birth rate - how low it is for non-muslims.

All too true. I heard 9/11 mostly referred to as a "tragedy" -- as if it were a mine collapse -- and even more neutrally, as an "event," like a fire in a warehouse. No, 9/11 was an attack. The attackers were Muslim fanatics, and our response has been entirely too understanding. We would have been better off -- and will be better off next time -- if we tell all Muslims and Muslim nations to abandon Islamic radicalism and violence against other faiths or face extermination. Not democratization and nation-building, but complete extermination as a faith by the mass extermination of all adherents or peoples who do not comply.

I remember the headline that simply said "BASTARDS" I like that one.
Be careful, I just used that word in another post and I beleive that's why it got removed. Albeit, it was used to describe a RINO, not a terrorist.

You know, the interesting thing I found out this last 9/11 was that not everyone really *knows* what happened on 9/11 five years ago. This was shocking to me (i.e., what happened with me), but it's true.
I played the "United 93" DVD over at my cousin's house and her daughter was there. She's old enough to know what happened, as she's 22 now. Her mother (my cousin) of course does know... but her daughter didn't.
After the movie was over, I just about fell out of my chair when her daughter said, "I didn't know that all this happened. I didn't know that there were four planes. I thought there was just one and that was it. That's all there was."
My question is -- "Are there other people out there in the United States who think it's nothing much, because they have a very, very faulty understanding of the simple and basic facts of 9/11?"
And yes, the daughter does watch TV all the time -- so -- how could this *radical misunderstanding* of the facts happen?
It does kind of make you wonder.

Thanks for the warning. However, it may be okay since I am merely quoting a headline, not offering my own opinion, though it would not differ.
Right. I must say though I agree with the Adm. Moderator, not because I neccessarily think what I wrote was wrong, but because I know the rules of posting and wharever Jim or the moderator deems unworthy it's their perogative to remove a post.
