I'm very aware and I'm also aware that CAIR didn't like it. So now they're just 'extremists' no longer Islamic-fascists. So okay I'm not happy about the change in language because I figure real Muslim friends know exactly who we're referring to when we say Islamic-fascists.

The issue I have is those of you who have swooped in on this thread about President Bush's speech to criticize him for not screaming, "All Muslims are evil," or something along those lines because they are not and it would be inappropriate to say so. You will not ever find me defending Islam. I am not a dhimmi, but I do smell the stink when people demand that President Bush speak so undiplomatically in a such a critical time.

Actually, he said "totalitarianism" tonight, which I think is the best description of the Islamic system and objectives. I thought Bush was much more blunter than he usually is and did not make any silly apologies for Islam. But there probably are Muslims who don't want to kill or convert us all, and there's no point alienating them all in a public speech. When the time comes where Islam per se has to be declared the enemy (and that time may come) rather than simply understood to be the enemy, I'm sure it will be. But this isn't the time.
