Waving madly.
I think I'm the one who was not clear. I agreed with your assessment of Iran. I was just spreading my appreciation to the 10s of 1000s of iraqis who have volunteered as soldiers and policemen as well as the Iranian intellectuals.
I did not mean my post as a retort to yours, but it sounded like it. LOL
And Bill was a lying sack of Clinton
If you would be kind enough to remove the particularly stupid of my stupid posts I would be eternally grateful.
I have apologized -- and still feel like doggy doo-doo.
The rest of the thread can feel free to pile on me if it is appropriate.
They've picked up bits and pieces of communist rhetoric, it seems, perhaps as a tool to broaden themselves as part of the persecuted unaligned circuit...it pops out a bit...and in the Palestinian groups there has long been a socialist/communist rhetorical undertow that goes back to the days when they and the Red Brigade types sometimes worked hand in hand...
But it may be more an us vs. them thing and a realization that the wealth in a lot of these countries is kept in the hands of a traditional clan leader arrangement...
I am sure it IS frustrating.
I am frstrated because we are in a "can't win." And I suspect so are many others on the other side of the door.
And that lying sack came out of a bull's Hillary..
Their primary purpose is political power, and funneling money, favors and networking. I don't think they actually believe they are enablers, but they do it....and a lot more. When in a group, they are dangerous...no matter what the ideology IMO.
I hope the Feds have them well covered.
Hijacked? What is this a Bush can do wrong thread? This is about his speech tonite, I saw no disclaimers that all posts had to be in utter total agreement or have nothing but praise and adulation for it.
Personally with it being 9-11, I was hoping for a lot more but my gut told me it would be more of the same-o, same-o, I've heard it all before in his other speeches on the WOT. Sorry but my definition of a 'great' speech just differs. I'm used to getting my inspiration from Reagan's speeches.
I wouldn't have even been bothered to say anything at all if that 'extremists' language didn't irk me so much. I don't understand why Bush should be more concerned about Muslim groups who seemed more offended by what he says than by what these fascists are doing in the name of THEIR so-called 'peaceful' religion.
As yet I have yet to see or understand why a moderate Muslim who obviously can see who we're dealing with would be offended by the term Islamic-fascists?
I am late to the thread...but I wanted to say THANK YOU for the transcript!
And I LOVED that it was in pieces!
It is easier to read that way!
I really appreciate your time~
Or as I like to all him, "the short Greek guy (who father is a GO priest?) who stabbed his meal ticket in the back for a better meal ticket..."
Anyone watching FNC? Is Hillary gone? One person I can not handle today...
It does indeed, and those that won't admit it, are dumber than dirt and are saying so for political purposes only. President Bush, Tommy Franks, Don Rumsfield, et al, set the battlefield in Iraq....the Presidentsaid: Bring it on; they came, and we are killing them. It is only the stupidity of the democrats that are so blinded by their hatred for good leadership that they simply refuse to accept this. They are embarrased that after 8 years of doing nothing (are there any men left in Washington, or are they all cowards) they cannot grasp the magnificance of this strategery. I'm proud President Bush is my President and I'm grateful for his persistence and his honesty.
That's the problem .. more need to speak up
I have a few neighbors that are Muslim from India .. their kids play with my kids ... and the nicest folks you could meet
Ditto that -- I was working during the speech but I read the transcript on the bus. AMAZING, inspirational, brilliant. That line about us dropping to our knees in prayer made me lose my breath -- and that was from a TRANSCRIPT!!
God bless this president and all he stands for.
Thanks, got it. The number of Iraqi police who have been killed is mind boggling. The courage displayed by these people should really give us pause. God bless them. They really want to make a better country for their people.
Bless you -- THANKS! :)
It was the line that brought that speech to its rightful conclusion. George Washington would be proud.
Wow. You have my respect. God bless.
They are getting it sorted out, but the Sunni atrocities for over 30 years under Saddam has caused a payback, and this has to work it's self out, IMO. I don't think it was surprising. AQ found it easy to get it started, and it's going to continue for another year, I suspect...I hope less...
We need to stay focused on the foreign instigators from Iran and Syria who keep throwing gas on the fire, and let the locals get this crap sorted out between them. They will stop when they are satiated.
