While I appreciate their nice 9/11 tribute, Dogpile is hardly a substitute for Google. Searching for the exact phrase, "George Bush," Dogpile gave me 84 results. Google yielded 26 million. What did I do wrong?"

Funny....I was shopping for a chain saw the other night...trying to find which distributors (locally) had certain models in stock....I googled my state and chainsaw...I got a bazillion "hits"...most of them led to amazon.com
Google sucks.

I suspect the answer lies in 'total results' vs. 'usable results.'

Different search engines are good at different things. I use Dogpile probably 80% of the time. Google is good if I really want to dig. I utterly despise Yahoo.
