At Google nada about 9/11. At Dogpile, this.
Dogpile V. Google Cont'd [Jonah Goldberg]
Golly judging from a lot of email, I may have started something. For example:
It took me two minutes to switch from Google toolbar to Dogpile toolbar. The best part was that the Google uninstall page had a comments box asking why I was getting rid of their service. I let them know. Believe me, I let them know.

Dogpile seems to be doing a "better" search for me too.

Somehow the Google toolbar showed up.
How do I get rid of it?

The names of the two should be reversed.

Argh. Wish Dogpile was compatible with Mozilla Firefox. I hate Explorer.

I edit my registry so that Google appears as my default engine in the left-hand window when I click the search icon in IE.
Is there any way to do that wih Dogpile?

If you're running Windows XP, SP2 you should download IE7.

Warn them that will have a "tabbed browser" whether they want it or not.
[which I personally loathe]

Argh. Wish Dogpile was compatible with Mozilla Firefox. I hate Explorer. Use Slimbrowser http://www.flashpeak.com. I like better than Firefox!

Most people who use Firefox like the tab feature.

I avoid beta testing Microsoft's products. It's bad enough being a gamma tester.

Toolbar does not install. Gives you a message to download IE. Screw that.
