the problem is that the nation's security is no different to the rats than sochsa security or drilling in the Gulf. To them they are all issues that they want to take away from us. They literally don't care about the safety of the country one dam bit.
That's why the nation's security will go local from now on IMHO.

Bush didn't give money to the Taliban.. in the Summer of 2001, we were still working off Clinton's budget (President Bush's first budget didn't take effect until October 2001).. Afghanistan was given humanitarian relief money as most assbackwards countries, the Taliban was the government at the time, thus, the logical recipients.
