I will not be here for the first hour of tonights program. Thought I would put it up for those FReepers overseas that are viewing it now.
For those who wish to see the clips the Clinton lawyers complained about, Click here
And from Otis ANGB, Selfridge ANGB, and Andrews AFB, but those were ANG as well, and were not armed with anything but practice ammo, IIRC it was one of the pair from that unit that made the "we could ram 'em and eject" comment.
Correction. Hooper is the dhimmifier.
Pretty sure those were DC Air Guard. They had just returned from an Air to ground training mission, they were not part of the ANG's alert force, such as it was. They did a hot refuel and launched with what they had, which was not nothing, but was only training rounds in the 20 mm drum. They could take out an engine, or better yet the cockpit, but they'd have a hard time doing enough damage to destroy the aircraft. But shooting up the cockpit might have worked. In the event, they didn't get a chance to find out, thanks to the Militia of Flight 93, who brought down the plane before the Guardsmen had to be burdened with such a task. It would have been a heck of a burden to bear.
Just exactly WHAT was Richard Clark's job?
Up close, he and his harridan of a wife, are REALLY creepy; creepier than any picture you've ever seen of them.
Yeah. If any country the US has ever had influence in was perfect for a US style constitution, sovereign states or areas, limited central government, individual rights guaranteed, Iraq was it. But I guess the State Department types that helped the Iraqis write their constitution do not admire the US Constitution as much as some of us?
Hi jeffers, nice to see you (((Hugs)))
It's when she flies that Erum Sayed-Khan feels different. Specifically, when they check her bags.
"They claim it's random, but it happens every single time," she said. "I don't get mad; I understand this is what the world has come to.
"I also want to fly on a safe airplane. I also want my children to be safe. They can check my bags. Check other people, too."
Gee, Erum, mine get checked everytime, too. I'm a redhead. My ancestors have been here since the 17th century. I'm a Christian. Why are my bags checked?
Barbara Bodine was yanked from her duties as "mayor" of Baghdad, after about three weeks of service. Too bad civil service rules give people like that lifetime careers.
Hal knows where all that pre-911 stuff is as he posted a lot of it. We also had (have?) a poster with a screen name of Jeep_in_mazaar or something similar who left is jeep there just before spending time on this forum. He had a lot of interesting stuff as well.
Well you should have said Hello.I am just bitch enough too.I think they are boring and I get a kick out of people who suck up to them to feel important.I am talking about personalities only.
There are many fine things in life that have been compromised.
wish Abraham had just forgot about the chambermaid & stuck with old lady/wife sarah!
MEN!
But there have been *two* movies. "Flight 93", made for TV, and "United 93", made about the "Militia of Flight 93"
So if someone's religion holds that it is a blessed sacrament to kill my kids* I should treat them just the same as everyone else?????
* -a common, though perhaps not majoritarian, Islamic theological position in places like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan and Afhannistan....
---As has been said, "the Bill of Rights is not a suicide pact."
I had this recorded on my DVR, and the recording cut out right as Flight 93 was going down in Shanksville. Was that the last scene of the movie, or were there other scenes that I missed?
Note how it has had posts added to it some time later.
absolutely a world act.. no doubt. I think he would have an academy award collection if he chose cinema rather than politics
