The Deconstruction of Hillary Rodham Clinton
Posted on 09/10/2006 10:13:02 PM PDT by I'll be your Huckleberry
Let's be clear about what transpired tonight. The MSM, ABC, and the powers that back them have made their choice.
And it is not Hillary.
Who will emerge as the left's chosen one is uncertain, but the campaign to destroy Hillary Clinton began tonight.
If the playbook is to be followed, you will find a growing number of negative stories casting more and more dispersion on the Clinton's failed leadership.
You might ever see some of her many scandals brought to examination.
It is over for her.
Perhaps because of her position on the war, perhaps because she could never have won or perhaps because evil always turns on evil - she will be systematically Borked.
This highly publicized, prime time piece is no accident. It is not a bit of truth that fell through the filter, it is deliberate and approved.
Never underestimate the enemy. If they feed her to the wolves then there is another upon whom they will pin their hopes.
Stay Strong

RW -
Agreed but the divorce ploy is feasible if she gives his infidelity as the reason. Women will resonate with that and won't blame her. You are absolutely right it will be transparent, but finally dumping Bill will get some emotional empathy.

You scare me.
Nothing seems beyond the pale at this point.

If Clinton hadn't been otherwise occupied and not so fearful of criticism OBL would be history...Reno made some very bad calls
Reno made calls on clinton's direction. He had no problem going after Americans in Waco, nor a young boy trying to stay in America but too occupied when it came to protecting USA.
As far as impeachment, his lawyers were taking care of things; clinton wasn't as much fearful as he was negligent and didn't want to upset his 'fun presidency'; He surrounded himself deliberately w/'yes' men - they weren't hired for their smarts but for their lack of leadership qualities.
He wasn't occupied when he granted 'pardons'. i.e., to terrorists in NY for hillary benefits, Rich, his friend's wife on his final day of his 'tour of duty'. It was all about him, always was - never about USA. He instituted a bill that AFTER a presidency is up - no more USSS protection'. He didn't include himself in this bill - any president AFTER him. It's all about him.

""Hillary/Obama 2008. You heard it here first."
- I don't think Obama's ready yet for his excellent adventure such as a run for VP. Hasn't been around long enough to accumulate all the IOU's needed for a run. Besides, he's black and the Dem's love their votes but likes to see them down on the plantation where they think they belong. Finally, with the Dem's already controlling 85 - 90% of the black vote, he can't bring much more to the table, unlike Rice who, as a VP candidate, might be able to erode that black voter base for the Republicans.

"Have always said that Bubba would be the one to stop Hillary."
- You know, I think he's probably entertained the notion of stopping her and maybe even tormented Hitlery with a hint or two on the possibility. After all, the consensus seems to be that throughout Slick's Presidency, she had him by the crotch with her threat to ruin him by revealing all she knew about his past indiscretions if she didn't get her way on certain issues. He must have greatly resented such blackmail.
Now the shoe is on the other foot and I'd be surprised if he didn't take advantage of the fact.

Re "spoiler": I felt a little guilty telling you how the story ended for John O'Neill before you had a chance to see the second half of the movie. What did you think of tonight's half of the movie?

I like the movie. I found it engrossing. Lots of papers in the air must be a salient memory for New Yorkers. I turned off my TV after a couple of hours and went to the blood bank. That was the most monstrous sin I have even seen, and I didn't want to get used to it. So, seeing those images again has been moving.
I realized since your post that I have not paid any attention to ABC. I have a love/hate relationship with TV as I was married to 2 TV directors in my youth. My parents were lifelong friends of Walter Cronkite. We are wasting a precious and powerful resource and polluting the airwaves. I am just going to hope that this is a harbinger of good things to come
My own inquiry has been more on trying to understand what is going on in the Middle East. Maybe that's why I missed Miller and his book. There was a time I knew a lot of those people. I knew a little about O'Neil, though. Thanks for the heads up.

Notice Slick Willie's hair is no longer Mercedes silver, designer coiffed, not one hair out of place, with 10 coats of lacquer
Today he looks like a panhandler outside GCS

LOL, you are overdoing it about her face. I think she does her own hair, just wash and slick it back.

Dems won't impeach Bush. IIRC, It takes a two thirds majority in the senate to convict a President and remove him from office. A President will only be removed from office for some kind of action that is clearly outrageous, illegal, and unacceptable to senators in both parties.

Quite plausible.
She's a paragon example of evil.
But the puppet masters have an abundance of evil sorts in their group & under their control.
