Yea, they cut the infrared....so what? They got the most important part. Who cares that they cut the infrared?
Seems to me they cut more than just the infrared....plus the infrared shows you how they had these guys literally there, in their sights and it is at this moment they decide that no one there has the balls or authority to make a decision?

By the way, Amy Madigan, a graduate of my university, is definitely a political lefty but I loved her performance in this and she did a damn fine job of showing what a bunch of cluster screw-offs we had managing the hunt for Bin Laden under Clinton.
Good point. What a lot of people don't seem to realize is that last minute editing is done in many movies. Scenes are tightened for conciseness. Extraneous scenes are cut. Also, future showings, if any, of this will include commercials so it's necessary to get it down to 2:40 segments.
