Every conservative who has seen this has said it was hard on us too.
In fact, that is what the WH said. Only one side had a hissy fit and tried to get it stopped...and that is the side that STILL doesn't want to take responsibility.
So, this is not about who is at fault, because it doesn't matter. It is about who is willing to do what needs to be done NOW. That is what has their knickers in a twist.

No doubt... Bush didn't do jack to stop Terrorism before 9/11. Not interested in 'nation building' and all that.
The problem for dems is Bush didn't do jack for a few months, Clinton didn't do jack for years.
The BIGGEST difference, BY FAR, is how the parties have decided to respond to it after 9/11 where the CLEAR goobers are they.
