You are 100% correct.

Expect to see more 'commentary' from the MSM in the next few days--calling the ABC documentary 'CONTROVERSIAL'. That will be the term they use to highlight what the Clinton psychophants will call false and 'unproven' accusations.

That term will have a dilutive effect for those who really have no agenda-and just want to be informed about what really happened--and will mobilize and energize the legions of liberals who will do ANYTHING to ensure that the Clinton legacy is touched or harmed by 9/11.

My read differs somewhat, although I agree strongly about reality-challenged, loud progressives.

The donks have offered Hillary the House leadership position if she doesn't run for president. They make the case that with this high-profile soapbox, she can run in 2012. She would never run against a donk incumbent.

It is possible this is a head fake, and she/they really want an outcry that will draft HRC. It is also possible that their internal polls are telling them that the Ds cannot take back Congress, not even the House and have even less chance of winning the 2008 General Election. I have always thought the Ds do their own cause more good by being in the obstructive minority than they do while in power. They can do us less harm that way, too, although they still can do harm, of course.

Hillary will never be POTUS. She has negatives in the 45% range. She is also arrogant and shrill, and not beholden to the moonbats. I bet they will draft Algore. I also bet he will lose, again.

As for ABC, I have sat TV and unsubscribed from all the alphanets and PBS sometime in mid-2004. I will resub tomorrow. You have to keep a subscription for 6 months. If they do a reversal to their usual BS, I will unsubscribe, again.

However, as you said: this war is necessary. I disagree that our actions so far have been sufficient, but, I pray that will come. Producers and suits at ABC are just as vulnerable as anyone else, maybe more so, as they live and work in vulnerable cities like NY and DC and LA. Just maybe, they have their own survival in mind. It certainly is at stake.

I also don't believe ABC will cave. This is a business and all the complaints are free publicity. Everyone knows Berger and Madge, et al, will not sue in civil court. Discovery will kill them. Perhaps ABC is staking out a position that will make them credible to at least the sane donks/former donks. That could be going too far. Only time will tell. But, just maybe, they see/sense a sea-change in America and want to be on the side that will garner them the most viewers. Right now, I understand the alphanets are mainly viewed by the WWII generation, who are fast departing.

Can you imagine the outcry if the Administration asked TV networks to censor Bill Mahr or....Kerry, Kennedy, Shumer...because they make President Bush 'look bad' when they call him a liar and stupid!

The "story" should be the double standard applied to Republicans vs Democrats.

The "fictionalized" disclaimer should be insurance against lawsuits. If this comes off as described it will be interesting to watch the spin. How the press can give Bill Clinton or Sandy Berger any creditability is beyond me. Both are proven liars.

I just heard on the radio that ABC caved and gave in to some of Clinton's demands for changing the movie.

If this is true this is a huge outrage.
