Iraqi defense minister thanks Poland
06.09.2006
Iraqi defense minister has thanked Poland for its participation in the stabilization mission of the US-led international force in Iraq and for humanitarian aid. Speaking at a press conference in Warsaw Abdel Qader Muhammad Yassem said Poles helped the Iraqi people to regain freedom. He compared the fight of the Iraqi nation with violence and terrorism to the struggle of the Polish nation against Nazism.
Polish defense minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that a few years ago the Polish army had to learn NATO standards, today it is teaching other countriess troops. Asked about possible prolongation of Polish soldiers mission in Iraq, minister Sikorski said Poland may pull out in the second half of 2007 but no concrete decisions have been taken yet.

I wonder if America recruits Poles for its armed forces? With a view to citizenship, of course . . .
If not, why not?

Don't you know, those mentioned by you are not Polish, but only "Polish-language" media (copyright Fr Rydzyk)???
Well, maybe you should check the "utra-Polish" media, you know, those based in Torun.
I'm pretty sure you'd find there an unbroken stream of appraisals addressed to the fact, that Poland's helping U.S. in Iraq

I am a staunch P&S supporter, not LPR's.
Yeah, and P&S looks at the Radio Maryja or TV Trwam with nothing but pure abomination.
I just can see suffering on the faces of politicians of the P&S, when they're performing there every week (or more often).
Poor guys
LOL!

Father Rydzyk is truly blessed priest. He raised that spiritual empire from absolute nothing. He sure is blessed, but by which god? Our God told him to hate Jews? As far as I remember hate is a sin? And don't call Rydzyk's sect 'spiritual empire' - I can not laugh that laud in my office.
