This thread is meant to be a place to discuss all of the daily Talk Radio and TV News shows that don't have their own daily thread. If you want to comment on something but don't think it deserves a separate thread, post it here. Any radio or TV shows may be commented on. Want to rant about IMUS, Matthews, O'Reilly. Feel free to vent your anger here.
We have a daily ping list. if you would like to added or removed Freepmail me.

Here is a link to McGruffs backup board if Free Republic is down click here which hasn't been happening much lately thanks to the fine work of the FR team.
FABULOUS doesn't begin to describe it. Thanks.
So glad to hear from you. I have been lurking some, but really just terribly busy. We finally got some rain so the fall work with the cows went much easier. Sorry but I have had to give Imus up. He has went way over the line & really does not have the guests that I like to hear anymore. I know he does do good interviews (Leadpenny brought that out to our attention.) By the way I havn't seen him post for awhile, is he on one of his trips? Good to check in. New Mexico's Repulican seat in Albuqueruqe is going to be a barn burner. I hope we can pull it off. Of course Bill Richardson will walk back in, & then I am afraid the rest of you guy's will get a taste of him. Lord help us all!!!!ha ha. Springman thanks for not forgetting me. Denco
Good Monday morning, all. So far, this is the only listed guest:
"At 6:29am eastern, newly appointed editor of Newsweek, Jon Meacham will join Imus. We'll ask him about the matters at hand.. including the upcoming elections and what he thinks about the controversial ads that targeted Rep. Harold Ford Jr...."
Let's all hope that the Iman is just not the kingmaker he fancies himself to be.
Bo Dietl, Jim Nantz and Bob Schieffer are also on the list this morning. MSNBC is going to do "Battleground America" ALL WEEK LONG. I wonder how that will fare in the ratings.
Well, they are ignoring perhaps the biggest & most shocking news of all from the weekend..our sorry Cleveland Browns (whom I Support & Love "despite") FINALLY won a game!
Have a good week everyone. I still lurk daily but time for posting is pretty limited for many thread I enjoy!
The Browns WON. Will wonders never cease???? Congratulations :)
Dr. Deb gave us the heads up.
A Day in the Life of President Bush ...
HEADS UP . . .
SEAN HANNITY is going to spend the entire day with PRESIDENT BUSH tomorrow . . . He will feature the President, et al, on both his radio and TV shows . . . This should be AWESOME!!

post 510 if it doesn't take you there
It was a good game & decent weather (for Cleveland)
AWK~
Sean is TRAILING ...not TRAINING
sorry.. a little bit of difference?
just too bad Imus didn't seem to want specific information from NEWSWEEK's Meecham on how Ford is doing.
Harold Ford speaks: My friend Lincoln Davis who chairs our campaign says there are, theres one big difference between us and misfortunate Republicans when it comes to our faith: he said that Republicans fear the Lord; he said Democrats fear AND love the Lord.
"Misfortunate"???? I initially didn't want Ford to win because he is a dem, but having watched this guy for the past few months, I wouldn't want him in the US Senate whatever party he was in.

Imus is going on and on about Joe Barton again this morning. This is the video where some man tried to get into Barton's office and had to be turned away by the police.
That's when I turned him off. I can imagine Imus spending his whole weekend searching YouTube for show material. LOL
Fox and Friends showed the video clip of Michael J. Fox admits Ignorance although he's so hard to understand when he speaks you almost need a transcript.
Barton committed the ultimate sin...he didnt do what Deirdre Imus wanted him to do. She wants his head and is using Don to get it.
I think Michael Fox has overplayed his hand. All of this "Look at me, look how I suffer" business is distasteful. It's as if he's saying I'm a famous and likable icon and that gives me the right to demand you do things that are abhorrent and that your money be taken and used to that end, and if you don't agree you are just not nice people. Arrogant in the extreme.
So I thought however dropping polls for Talent may suggest otherwise.
All we can do it get out and vote and then wait and see.
Morning, all. Here's the lineup for today:
CNBC Analyst Ron Insana will join Imus at 6:29 am eastern. Ron will talk to us about money and business.
During the 7am hour we'll be joined in the studio by the man Imus hopes will be the next governor of Texas, Kinky Friedman.
The anchor and managing editor of NBC's Nightly News, Brian Williams, will be our guest at 8:29am eastern. There's a lot to talk about with Brian as the mid-term elections are next week. Democrats need 15 victories in the House and six in the Senate to gain control. Will the balance of power in Washington D.C. and across the country be changed?
Within the last couple of hours I posted several articles on the stem cell debate in the Missouri senate race. Here's another;
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/15484419/
Just think this issue is going to end up being pivotal in us keeping the senate
Bernie tells Imus Insana is on to talk about his Dad having a disease and his opinion on stem cell research. Let's hope the conversation doesn't distort the issue (as most do), by omitting the word "embryonic" when that is what the discussion is about.
As for Michael J. Fox. No one would dare ask him which of his children's embryos would he destroy in order to cure himself of MS.
