I'm so glad you posted this! I heard it yesterday driving home from Miami and had to pull over it was so good.
Tomorrow on the t.v. talk show thread I am thinking about posting a call for action for all Freepers to start sending clothing to Iraqi citizens, would love to get some Freeper opinions on the idea.

I was sitting at my kitchen table when I heard this, and I had to pull over, too. My oldest son also heard the call and was impressed.

Two years ago we took part in a drive organized by our church for school supplies for kids in Afghanistan.

Your idea is excellent, we will get involved with any clothing drive that is organized here. Are you going to have a ping list or will this be posted on a particular thread?
