I was sitting at my kitchen table when I heard this, and I had to pull over, too. My oldest son also heard the call and was impressed.

Two years ago we took part in a drive organized by our church for school supplies for kids in Afghanistan.

Your idea is excellent, we will get involved with any clothing drive that is organized here. Are you going to have a ping list or will this be posted on a particular thread?

I will post it tomorrow on the t.v. talk show thread and touch base with MNJohnnie who has extensive military contacts and will probably be able to tell us how to go about it.
A friend of mine had a couple of hundred tee shirts I think i could get if he still has them and maybe start it off.
