Morocco: Moroccan police arrest five Africans for fraud
Rabat, 09/25 - Police in Morocco have reported the arrest of five sub-Saharan Africans over a swindling scheme in Oujda, in eastern Morocco.
According to the police in Oujda, three Ivorians and two Malians tried to convince their victims that they could produce banknotes in euro and dirhams (Moroccan currency).
The five suspects, who travelled on board a vehicle rented in Rabat, have already appeared in court for attempts swindle and produce counterfeit, aside from the charge of for illegal immigration.
