You're correct. There've also been findings of suicide vests in vacant buildings and other large stashes of weapons by people not identified in the articles. Some of the locations were nondescript (not large cities).

I've seen posts on other threads that insinuate anyone concerned about potential terrorist attacks in our country is filled with paranoia and over-wrought with doomsday scenarios. If we are attacked and gasoline and food and essential supplies are curtailed or stopped, at least we'll be somewhat ready for whatever happens thereafter.

Local Washington, DC newcast just reported that a van with Connecticut tags being driven by an Israeli was stopped and searched on 95at around 7:30 this evening. They found suspicious articles in the van including maps and pictures of local landmarks and bridges.

The van is being processed and the man is being held in College Park, MD for questioning. I have found no mention yet on local news websites.

Sometimes this still surprises me. I expect it among the general population, but not as much here.
