In spite of feeling miserble on some nights, I miss John vast knowledge on certain subjects and he reminds me of radio years ago when folks would gather around to listen to a good story!
I hope that he will pop up again shortly in our local areas I can't promise to listen all the time especially during election time when JB leans toward the Dems.

That's exactly how I picture it too. I'm not big on his space stories, nor have I been happy with some of his opinions lately about the war in Iraq, but it's hard to beat the guests he features. It sounded to me last night like he was planning to pop up somewhere else in the near future.
Glad I missed that or I never would have listened recently. And not knowing that made his "cut and run" comments all the more shocking.
He was at his best during the recent Israeli war, though intelligence from Loftus was sometimes overhyped. And his classic sign-off with "Midnight, the Stars and You" followed by Kate Smith and "God Bless America" will be missed.
