I'm shocked that WABC has brought on Jerry Agar... He was an afternoon conservative radio talk show host here in Raleigh. That was a couple years ago. He was OK but gave no glimpses of major city or national capabilities. He went to KC and now has landed on WABC.
Will be interesting to see how he delivers.

I can deal with the ads, that's a fact of life.
but during the content portion of the show - I don't want to hear every single caller call him a great american. enough already.

Mike McConnell is a jerk. He does "Weekends" and acts like a moderate while being a lib.
I've exchanged e-mails with him and I won't be listening.
He throws things out as truth and has no way to prove it.
Also, he thinks the Constitution is a "living breathing document" that can be interpreted to whatever.
Not directed to me but I just can't handle him.
Is he going to come on after Levin?

The couple of months touting the implications of 8/22, and then not much happening that day, perhaps somewhere up in ABC they thought he was a fear mongering.

John Batchelor had always been a rub against the Conservatives.
He is moderate leaning left!
That, my friend, is entirely inaccurate. John Batchelor is not a moderate. When is the last time you heard a moderate support Israel as strongly as JB does. The man has made numerous trips to Israel to broadcast and get the truth out. Also, no moderate left leaning person would write a book titled ' Aint you Glad you joined the Republicans? ' as John did. Here is a review: "From Publishers Weekly Whatever one's political persuasion, this breezy, hugely entertaining, opinionated chronicle of the Republican Party will nettle and provoke. Founded in 1854 by opponents of slavery, the party of Abraham Lincoln by 1897 had turned itself into a conservative arbiter that championed the liberty of the American marketplace, according to novelist Batchelor (Father's Day). Yet the Republicans, he maintains, have consistently claimed an obligation to the values of the American people, whether in support of liberty, sound money, trust-busting, anticommunism or family values. Among the Republican presidents he particularly admires are fearless, progressive Theodore Roosevelt, Nixon (whose Watergate-triggered ouster Batchelor blames mostly on vengeful Democrats' partisan politics) and Reagan, whose massive military buildup and aggressive foreign policy hastened the U.S.S.R.'s collapse, in Batchelor's estimate. Contemporaneous political cartoons and illustrations, memorabilia and campaign songs and verses are woven into the colorful narrative. 50,000 first printing. Is there anyone who has ever, Once!, learned something from the SH Show? With Batchelor, I may not alway agree, but I always learn.

To be honest I don't think 8/22 happen because 8/10 happen first.

Oh he often rang the RED ALERT bell. I remember last year Loftus saying our invasion of Syria was imminent, and JB going along with that.

Savage is on the 10-1 AM time slot in WRKO Boston. I know he has many fans in this neck of the woods.

..."reminds me of radio years ago when folks would gather around to listen to a good story!"
That's exactly how I picture it too. I'm not big on his space stories, nor have I been happy with some of his opinions lately about the war in Iraq, but it's hard to beat the guests he features. It sounded to me last night like he was planning to pop up somewhere else in the near future.

I hope they haven't done anything with Levin's show. Thanks for the information on the McConnell show - I'll still give it a fair hearing.

I can't believe Hannity is number 2 in overall ratings behind Limbaugh.
Sean's a dope. He can barely hold his own against Colmes's midget IQ.
The last time Hannity had an original thought it died of loneliness. I'll stick with el Rushbo and the Great One (Mark Levin).
