If humans don't evolve then where did liberals come from?
Or does evolution always have to be an upward thing?

I hate to feed the troll but "intelligent design" is not a scientific theory. A scientific theory is a conjecture that is subject to experiments which may, or may not support it. There are no experiments that can be done to validate or invalidate the theory of intelligent design. It's a concept that must be accepted on "faith".
I personally believe that it's somewhat deceitful to put something out there and call it a "theory" when it really isn't. People don't refer to Genesis as a theory and they should not call ID a theory.
Now, aside from all the above, my personal views on the subject are that there IS a creator and that he/she/it chose to create us in a way that was suitable for this universe: evolution.
To: PatrickHenry
I am freeper, who is strongly pro-evolution; while questions about the theory still remain, its amazes me that some can be so critical of it, while blindly accepting creationism, which has many flaws.
Most importantly, evolution does not really undermine the teachings of Christ, nor does it prove the absence of god. It shows our insignificance, while also demonstrating that there's no limit to what we can become, thanks to god's gift of life.
Ironically enough it demonstrates some of god's greatest achievements are on a scale which we can not see, nor fully comprehend. In many ways its a test of faith.

This American "subscribes" but to "parts" of evolution "theory". The rest I leave to God.
How did reproduction "evolve"?
Hint: It didn't.

One thing we know for sure: gay "unions" do not result in reproduction of homo sapiens. In fact, their diseases work against evolution.
To: PatrickHenry
If evolution is a fact, then why is there no evidence of any species evolving into another more superior species in the last, oh say, 1,000 years? 2000 years? All evidence is that evolution has stopped, which is not logical or scientific.
To: PatrickHenry
Is "The Origin of Species" about the origin of species, or about their changing over time? Puzzling title, considering most Darwinists argue that Darwin wasn't talking about the "origin," but the "evolution" of species....
Maybe I'm misunderstanding his use of the term.
Anyway, FWIW, the study seems pretty goofy. Of course homo sapiens have changed some over the years....

Since most Americans don't use the tool of evolution any more than they use the theory of relativity, it seems somewhat odd that the at large opinions amount to much.

Hi Patrick!
Question: Do you think that the truth of any matter can be settled by means of a public opinion poll? Just wondering....

Existed in their present form since the beginning of timePresent Form? What does that mean? My 'present form' is unlike anyone else's (and, boy, are others glad for that!) and, tomorrow, will be different from what it is today. Or, does it simply refer to the head, body, arms & legs arrangement?
Also, Christians believe that God created Time before God created Man so the 'since the beginning of time' thing doesn't work for anyone.
