A population boom in th US is not a bad thing if you look at the way things are going in Europe and the rest of the world. Population of France started to grow in the last few years. And this growth is accelerating. I wonder why?

I would suspect that the Population growth acceleration in France is not so much due to the indigenous French themselves, but the immigrant populations from various middle eastern states.
