Man, I was thinking of getting a home heating oil tank and getting a fill up for the winter (even though I burn propane and wood for heat).
I could fill up my diesel Jetta, Dodge Ram, and Kubota for cheap $$$, but if prices do fall then it won't be worth it.

I thought the ULS Diesel had the same energy content per gallon, just that the new engines using it to meet new Diesel emission regulations were less efficient.

There were area's in Montana where it never even got over $3.00 all summer. I just happen to live in a part of Montana where the gas has to be shipped in by truck once a week from 6 hours away distance.

That's my long term plan (including a single rear axle, used grain truck to haul it (and maybe a second tank) to the station). Alternately, install more fuel tanks on the grain truck's ample frame. ;-)

I was just in Bozeman and see today that gas prices in Gallatin Co. are still mile high. Doesn't make any sense. MT gas prices have been low in MT vs. the general US until the last month.

Karl Rove cleared and feeling his oats.
Gas prices dropping.
Interest rates steady and ready to drop.
Housing market to pick up and prices on the rise again.
Consumers feeling good about the economy.
Stock market headed for new highs and possibly 12000.
If Iraq settles down,
Baghdad under control,
some troops sent home and...
Osama is caught (killed) and...
you then you can call Karl Rove the genius that he is.
Timing is everything.

We get our fuel from one of two places, depending on which gas station you frequent: Minot, ND and Billings, MT.

Gas companies are still gouging by region. Big differences in places not that far from eachother.
