Plane Crashes At Blue Grass Airport; Up To 50 Aboard
The FAA is reporting that an Atlanta-bound Comair jet with up to 50 people on board has crashed on takeoff at Blue Grass Airport.
Details are still very sketchy, but it appears that the plane crashed just after 6 a.m. into a field on the airport property. An eyewitness told LEX 18 that he heard a large boom, then saw a bright flash of light.
There is no word on casualties thus far.
