I couldn't believe how smarmy Charlie Crist was. And, Crist did not answer Tom Gallagher's questions.

When Crist gets stuck, he says, "I believe in America." So do I! He was rude to Gallagher. Like I said before, Crist is for embryonic stem cell research to help people. Those embryos are up for grabs if it will help his dad's macular degeneration. I'm glad he said it tonight because nobody believed me. Crist thinks the unborn are spare parts.

Someone tell Crist to quit "name-dropping". I couldn't care less if Mel Martinez is "here tonight, endorsing my campaign."

How arrogant.

I thought Gallager came off much more genuine than Crist. There's nothing behind Crist's eyes. They're both politicians of course, but I feel like Gallager is a person who believe's most of what he is saying when he speaks. Like Jeb. I also like pretty much all of the positions that Gallager is taking.

The Democratic debate is tomorrow at the same time I believe.

I feel sorry for which ever candidate wins when the insurance crisis takes Florida's robust economy to the cleaners. I figure it will be a 5-7 year issue. I don't think either candidate knows what to do about this. Everyone keeps hoping it will go away.

That's why I just told my wife that you can't trust a word he says on property taxes or adoption credits. He'll spend and then say he's not able to keep his promises due to "needed" spending. She can't stand Crist anyway after his blatant pro-choice answers and support for uncivil unions.

Time for some Letters to the Editor. Mention the sniffles.

The business man, Mr. Gallagher did just fine. Liked him before, like him even better tonight.

The sniffling was very annoying. Who was doing that?

PROPERTY TAXES: Tom Gallagher was right. If the counties are budget busters, they need to be held to account.

CRIST ON ADOPTION: I don't want to pay $5,000 per year for each adopted child until they are 18. There's no way to estimate that and if EVERYONE steps forward to adopt just to get $5K a year for x number of years, can you afford it? I can't.

I DIDN'T ADOPT THEM!!!!! and I'm not about to adopt Crist either.

The way I see it the winner was Gallagher, hands down. He did come off too negative at the beginning, but only to people who didn't know about Crist's duplicitous record on uncivil unions. His attacks were validated after Crist gave a blatantly phony and insulting answer on abortion "I'm pro-life. That's why I'd keep the law pro-choice" and said that he's pro civil unions while again patronizing "I have a live and let live attitude." (tell that to Terri Schiavo btw). My idea of "live and let live isn't to encourage 100 Barney Frank lookalikes to march in a Faggot Day Parade with school kids. Apparently Charlie's is.

If this were a general election debate your analysis would be spot on. But remember, this is a GOP primary debate in which the voters are more like you and I and know about the issues. That's why issues count more than some emaciated guy's supposed good looks.

Not to mention McCain, which certainly doesn't recommend Crist to me, even if I weren't already inclined towards Gallagher.

Sorry to see that NewsMax has joined the Country Club Republicans.

Charlie Crist: "I'm pro-life, that's why I'm voting pro-choice." "I'm a conservative. That's why I support civil unions."

Well Charlie Crist, I'm pro-Charlie. That's why I'm voting for Tom Gallagher.

Crist did look a tad undernourished; his tan is up to George Hamilton standards.

We ain't seen nothing yet. They are having debate parties all over the state for Gallagher. They just started partying! I'll be back to post Gallagher's Talking Points on Winning the Debate as soon as I get them.

We've got Charlie on the run. When Crist said "he's a live and let live guy" about civil unions and that didn't answer the question, all that came to mind was that he PROTECTED JUDGE GREER instead of SAVING TERRI'S LIFE.

http://www.judgegeorgegreer.com/

Unless we stop them, the RINOS FROM PINELLAS COUNTY (Crist) are going to take the entire state where we don't wait it to go.

Did he also say "I believe in freedom." When he gets stuck, he either says "I believe in freedom or I believe in America." I swear, he's Forrest Gump.

Tom Gallagher's the only grownup running for Florida governor. He said Jeb Bush's name but he didn't do the name dropping thing ad nauseum like Crist.

Does everyone realize that if Crist is unfortunately elected he'd be the most liberal Governor of the State of Florida ever, despite being only the third Republican Gov.?

(of course the same is true of Davis and Smith, but that's expected)
