What makes you ashamed may not make the next person feel the same way. Also, the level of immorality or the sin you feel shame for is in direct proportion to how open your heart is to the Holy Spirit. Some folks have hardened thier hearts to the point that they don't feel shame for thier actions. You don't know your own heart and you surely can't discern the heart of another person. Only GOD knows a man's heart and therefore only HE can judge it. You are not morally better than anyone. You are as big of a sinner as Hitler in the eyes of THE LORD. The reward of sin is death and the reward of faith is life. One sin is all it takes and no man save one has lived or will ever live a sin-free life in this world. Be careful.
To many avoidance of the tempting is the same as rejecting temptation.
I understand this. Yet I believe I may still try to re-direct a conversation from "people can get porn if they want to" to "shouldn't we all avoid doing things that we are ashamed of doing?"
After all, if we have to be perfect to provide spiritual guidance then where would the Pastors come from?
Shalom.
