I-81 through Pennsylvania is the worst highway for trucks that I know of. From Scranton to the Mason/Dixon line (or Waffle House/Dunkin Donuts line for you modern people), it is white-knuckle all the way.

I-65 on the way to KY is so bad I swore I would NEVER use it again.

Truckers pull out right in front of you without even looking

Seeing as I used to live just east of there (Waynesboro east of Greencastle exit 3), I can vouch for that.

Another bad spot is downtown Columbus by the 70-71 interchange. It's horrible when it's just cars, but throw in a couple 18 wheelers and it's on.....

I-81 through Virginia is also awful. The truckers there have a real bad habit of pulling out into the left lane to pass (usually another truck) at the bottom of a mountain, and then you're stuck behind them as they go chugging up the hill at 35 mph. I've heard that VDOT has been trying to make I-81 6 lanes for years, and then they could restrict the semis to the two right lanes. But the eco-whacks and the "community activists" keep fighting them tooth and nail.

It ain't any better in NY all the way up to Watertown.
