Reports from Seoul Korea, (daily newspaper Joongang Ilbo in Seoul) via the Japanese Jiji press agency, that South Korean intelligence has intercepted radio messages/communications in North Korea, which were aired last month, to civilians in the Kilju County, Northern Hamgyeong Province area of northeastern D.P.R.K., to evacuate.
The source in the South Korean government said "our interpretation is that following North Korea's underground nuclear blast test, they wish to head off any escape of radiation that would be a threat to the nearby civilian population and are evacuating as such."

Hey SWB, I hope you're o.k. wherever you are. Hang in there, get some rest, and remember to sleep with one foot hanging over the bed (touching the floor if possible).

It would not surprise me if they had them on the drawing board and ready for prototype construction.
I believe the need for a decent bunker buster for Iraq probably put a few things in motion, if I know Bush.

And considering population density these days, it's not a really good idea.

Gosh, I don't know what a "conservative" username is supposed to look like. There's the obvious, of course, but have you noticed that the trolls like to use the most "obvious"? I'm just "me" too...and I like your username. LOL

I hope you have a good season! We have a few possibilities, but the QB is green and they really have not settled on which one so they will be playing both during the first few games.

Do you get the feeling some people think it's not a big deal popping off nukes. I do get that feeling. First India, then Pakistan did, and now N. Korea and Iran are talking about popping off a nuke.
It is a big deal. And they shouldn't. And if we get hit, or launched against, we should hit those four on launch warning, just to be sure.

After an 80 hour week?! YIKES! If I were you, I'd mix another adult beverage, take it to your bedroom, collapse into bed, lean up on one elbow, chug that sucker, and go to sleep. ;)

Nuclear weapons in this day and age have become defensive rather than offensive.
When the ICBM came into existence and turn key (or push button) global destruction became a real possibility, nations began to realize that no one wins an all out nuclear war. There would only be losers.
