Has anyone checked Streisand's pulse?
Did they offer any support to our nation?
Among the signatories: Sylvester Stallone, James Woods, Bruce Willis, director Ridley Scott, tennis player Serena Williams, Nicole Kidman,
Michael Douglas, Dennis Hopper, William Hurt, Josh Malina, Kelly Preston, Danny DeVito, Don Johnson, and media tycoon Rupert Murdock.
The Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles has been active since the start of fighting with an aim of drafting Hollywood stars to back Israel. During the war, Ehud Danoch, the consul general, initiated a mission aimed at enlisting support for Israel in Hollywood. The team was comprised of Israeli directors and producers in Hollywood.
'Stop terror at any price'
The statement said that if terror around the world is not stopped, chaos will rule and innocents will continue to die. The statement called for terror to be stopped at any price.
Consul General Danoch is continuing with his PR activities, and on Wednesday night he briefed the heads of the William Morris agency on the recent events in Lebanon.
Actor Adam Sandler was present at one of the many briefings the consul general gave this week. At the end of the briefing, Sandler announced that he would personally donate USD 100,000 to the children of the north and south, and about 400 Playstation games purchased by the actor are expected to be transferred to the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem in the coming days.
The name 'Arnold Schwarzenegger' is conspicuously absent. Oh wait..err.. never mind.
They have become painfully cognizant of the public's growing contempt for Hollywood and almost any movie it produces.
Time to make up to the rednecks.
"Whatcha drinkin' neighbor?"
"Heineken? F%^& that $%^&! PABST BLUE RIBBON!!!"
I knew there was something there (about all of these folks) to appreciate. They just needed an excuse to express it.
It's not supporting the United States or George W. Bush. It's supporting Israel.
I'll take what I can get.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
I suppose it's good to see a few of them come to their senses, but I didn't much care what they thought before or after this announcement. Hopefully they will influence some people if they speak individually about it in public ad infinitum the way those opposing their position do.
It also depends on what they think should be done about terrorism. If their solution is to "talk" to terrorists and ask them to behave, I fail to see this as a big boon to the cause.
"Come here Mr. Douglas. We won't hurt you. Here, be nice and put on this nice jacket we got for you! It's from CZJ! Sure the sleeves are a bit too long, but it's the fashion these days. Yes, it is odd that you put it on backward, but you know those crazy, crazy designers! Ha, ha! Good boy. Quick, lace it up and get him into the van. Psych ward, pronto. Don't let this leak to the media."
Do they understand what they're saying? So how about some pro-American movies, then, a-la John Wayne during WWII??
Good for them...it's about time those in Hollyweirdo gets it. Kidman's new Husband being a country singer probably made that suggestion!!!
Ridley Scott? His movie, 'Kingdom of Heaven' basically trashes Christians and makes the Muslims out to be noble.
Amazing.
Knock me over with a feather!
We all know how much power the Hollywood elites have over world politics, right?

Hooray!..Nicole Kidman and Hooray! to each of the 84 undersigned. Thanks to each and every one of you!
Why do I, all of a sudden, feel safe?
Where have they been the last 6 years?
Bruce Willis is really tight with those who served with the Deuce Four who were made famous by the Michael Yon Blog. Bruce is directing a movie about them and was at their coming home party:
