It would be more accurate to depict the media shooting THEMSELVES. The pictures didn't kill the media; it was a suicide.

by the by, the photogrpaher,Eddie Adams won the 1969 Pulitzer for the photo I'm sorry, but how can someone photograph something like that and not be considered an accomplice? Shouldn't he have dropped the d#$n camera and tried to stop it?? Better yet, carry a gun--Mr. Adams used the wrong thing to shoot with...

I like it. In the original photo was the guy a journalist?
At any rate, i think having the MSM guy on his knees would be appropriate.

A little background here and here.

Interesing use of an iconographic image. Scum-bunny Cong more than "had it coming," by the way. The fake photos aren't taking aim at the media. The media is not the "victim" of them. A depiction of a bad guy who accidentally blows himself up would be more accurate.the analogy is slight skewed, since while the photoshopped images certainly discredited the MSM, that was not the intent.

Agreed. Ping to my #30.

"Eating your gun," and using the thumb to aim at severing the brain stem and spinal column connection behind the tonsils is often more messy, but considered much more highly effective at self-termination. Now THERE'S the "how-to" article journalists should be printing for the ragheads! Maybe with a step-by-step demonstration by the reporter ...

I think the captions should be "Fraudulent Media Photographs" and the victim should be labelled "TRUTH".

I don't care for it...first the "victim" was a victimizer himself... a viet cong.
or is that your point? That the media is a victimizer being victimized by the Frauds.

That's good, but I would change the titles.
The shooter should be labeled 'media'.
The gun should be labeled 'fraudulent photos'.
The guy on the right should be labeled 'truth'.
The paradox with using this particular photo is that this photo was also was used by the media to send the wrong message about Vietnam.
The guy getting shot was a VietCong who had just killed men serving under the guy shooting the gun.
