It's actually worse than this news report suggests. According to a
Detroit Free Press story via the Wichita Eagle here, the boyfriend was also trading cigarettes for sex with his own 12 year old daughter.You need to keep an airsickness bag handy when you read the newspaper these days. Unbelievable.

you know, I read that. I cannot emphasize enough, that I don't approve. It's heinous for a male 20+ to have sex with a 14 YO.
That said, there a vast chasm of difference between a man having sex with a 14YO and a man having sex with his 12YO daughter. The first is not acceptable, a mistake and a problem but potentially(and I stress that) forgivable depending on the circumstance. I've known 14Yo girls that have thrown themselves at men trying to get sex. We spent time correcting that behavior and fortunately the men resisted. But, for a father to trade sex with his own daughter for money(cigs) is so far beyond acceptable, this animal needs garroted.
